Ginger for Headache, Nausea, Stomach ache, memory power, and appetite

Ginger is the first natural medicine that enlightens every one’s mind as soon as they fall ill. They try some thing that adds ginger in it.  Likewise, ginger tea is one of the most popular drink that has both medicinal components and taste.  The root of the ginger is added in the Ayurvedic and siddha medicine for its unique properties.  It has vitamin C, magnesium and other minerals in larger amounts.  Vitamin C is needed for a quick relief from cold.  The poor taste of the ginger can be enhanced either with lemon or basil for good taste with sugar free cubes for less calories.  Different dishes that contains ginger as a main ingredient are ginger bread, ginger salad with fish curry, ginger soup, non vegetarian  dishes with ginger as important ingredient etc.  Here, are the contribution of ginger tea towards the health of mankind.


In India, ginger is added as an important ingredient in dishes that are not easily digestible like Pongal, non vegetarian dishes, curries and dishes with fries.  Most of the greens has ginger in it to add more medicinal value to the dish.  It is combined mostly with garlic, mint leaves, lemon, chutney, coriander.  Dried ginger is used for healing sprains and scars.

Anti oxidants promotes immunity level in the body.  Anti oxidants are present in many vegetables, fruits and spices.  But, in ginger, the required amount of it is present for daily consumption.  It naturally has a power of fighting against deadly diseases like stroke, heart problems and kidney related diseases.

Blood purification and blood circulation is more important for a healthy body.  Impure blood or irregular blood circulation to the body parts prevents the normal functions of the body parts the creates the main source of all complicated diseases.  So, its more important to know whether our body has good blood circulation.  To purify the blood and blood components, ginger is added with mint leaves and prescribed by doctors to remove toxins.  For normal blood circulation and blood restoration, ginger with lemon or non vegetarian dish like sheep kidney is recommended.

People who are suffering from nausea are recommended to have ginger tea before they commence their travelling.  Ginger candies, ginger tea or any beverage with ginger has a power of controlling vomiting sensation.  The medicinal properties in ginger prevents stomach related problems like indigestion and stomach pain.  Ginger juice with salt cures constipation and stomach pain.  It destroys germs formed inside the liver, strengthens spleen.

Whenever you feel the stomach pain in a place where the medicine are not easily accessible, think of castor oil.  Four to five drops of this oil applied on the center of the stomach and massage it in a clockwise direction for few minutes and then ask yourself, how the stomach ache was gone within few minutes?

If a person takes too much of plantain during meal, that leads to gastric trouble. Some home remedies are suggested to get quick relief. Like wise dry ginger coffee acts as a medicine for quick relief.

Take two tsp of pepper, four tsp of coriander seeds, one tsp of basil or oomam. Add all the ingredient in a pan and fry it, without oil.

Make dry ginger and all the ingredients in the form of powder. Add two tsp of this powder in a glass of water and boil it. After you get the fragrance of the powder, add milk and sugar in the decation ( filtered water).

It works as a medicine to cure gastric trouble.

Ginger butter milk for strong body

In a mixie, add chopped small onions, ginger, salt, green chilli, coriander leaves and curry leaves.  Grind it and drink the tasty spicy and healthy butter milk as much as you can.  Because it has all the medicinal values that maintain good health.
