Health benefits of Crab. Chicken soup,Mutton chukka and Crab recipes

PRAWN MASALA

INGREDIENTS

Cummin seeds     1 tsp
Curry leaves.         10
Coriander leaves.   1/2 cup
Prawn.                      1 kg
Green chilli.               7
Chilli powder.            4 tsp
Salt
Grated coconut.        1/2 cup
Grated ginger.            2 tsp
Small onions.              30
Tomatoes.                    4
Turmeric powder.        1 tsp
Sesame oil.                    7 tsp
Coriander seeds.           4 tsp
Cummin seeds, jeera seeds.   1 tsp each

PREPARATION

Fry and Grind coriander seeds, ginger, cummin seeds, jeera seeds and grated coconut into a fine paste and keep a side.

Clean and mix the prawns with turmeric powder, salt and boil it for ten minutes.
In a pan, Pour oil, cummin seeds, curry leaves and finely chopped Onions.  Fry it till it turns into light brown in colour.  Add tomatoes, green chilli, grinded masala, salt for the gravy and close the lid for two minutes in a low flame.

Sprinkle chilli powder, then add prawns in it.  Close the lid by adding 1 glass of water and close the lid, by putting on low flame.

Switch off the flame after it turns into a semi solid gravy.
This is the best side dish for white rice or ghee rice.

CHICKEN SOUP

INGREDIENTS

Garlic.                                         6
Small onions.                            10
Tomatoes.                                 2
Chicken.                      .             1/4 kg
Green Chilli.                               2
Pepper.                                      1 tsp
Jeera seeds.                             1/2 tsp
Salt.                                             Required quantity 
Turmeric powder.                     1/4 tsp
Curry leaves and Coriander.   1/2 cup

PREPARATION

In a cooker, Put cleaned chicken, chopped Onions, tomatoes, and all the ingredients.  Mix well without adding water.  Add 750 ml of water and close the lid.  Slow the flame after three whistles and wait for 10 min.  
Off the flame and serve it in a soup bowl with chopped coriander and curry leaves.  

This is the best medicine for Cold and cough.

Mutton chukka

INGREDIENTS

Mutton.                       250g
Clove.                          2
Cinnamon.                 1/2 inch
Salt.
Curd.                            3 tsp
Coriander leaves.      5
Curry leaves.              3 tsp
Onions.                       2
Tomatoes.                 1
Turmeric powder      1/4 tsp
Oil.                               6 tsp
Cummin seeds.         1 tsp
Pepper.                       1 tsp
Dry red Chilli.             10
Coriander seeds.      1 tsp


PREPARATION

To make the mutton tender, clean the meat and soak in the curd for 10 minutes.  Grind dry red Chilli, cummin seeds, pepper, and coriander seeds in form of thick paste.

In a cooker, add soaked mutton, 1/2 tsp of grinded paste, salt and turmeric powder for mutton.  Close the lid without adding water.  Put of the low flame after four whistles.

Take a thick bottom pan and pour 2 tsp of gingelly oil, one tsp of butter.  Put Cinnamon, clove and wait till the essence blends with the oil.  After that fry onions, tomatoes, add 1 tsp of grinded paste, salt for the gravy

Pour the boiled mutton into the chukka masala and stir it till the oil are separated from the gravy or it should be floating on the sides of the gravy.

CRABS

Crabs are most favorite and delicious sea food that has rich omega 3 fatty acids, protein, good Cholesterol, selenium and chromium.  Each and every nutrient in the results in only good health benefits.

CRAB FRY

INGREDIENTS 

Crab.                                          10
Garlic                                         20
Pepper.                                      3 tsp
Small onions.                           20
Tomatoes.                                4
Chili powder                            2
Salt.                                           Required amount
Turmeric powder.                    1/2 tsp
Sesame oil.                               3 tsp
Fennel seeds.                           1 tsp
Coriander and curry leaves    1 cup

PREPARATION 

In a pan, Add sesame oil then fennel seeds.   Fry the Onions and tomatoes in the same pan till it forms a thick gravy.   Then, add the paste of fried garlic and pepper in it.

In the fried gravy, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt are spread and tossed evenly till the raw flavor gets disappeared.

Add crabs and close lid.  Pour some water because crabs shed some water when it gets boiled.  Switch off the flame after it turns into a bright red thick gravy.   Now, garnish with curry leaves and coriander on the mouth watering crab fry.
